Before starting to develop the final product, the requirements for CP Social had to be clear. The first part of the requirements analysis was determining what platforms and features we wanted to be supported in the final product.
Platform & feature support
The first thing I did when creating the concept I had a meeting with my company supervisor to discuss all the requirements of the final product.
After a final analysis of the game and the overlapping features on all supported platforms we setteled on implementing only 3 overlapping features:
- Handling personal data
- Achievements
- Cloudsaving
After determining these feature we also finalized the selection of platforms the final product would have to support
- iOS
- Android
- Steam
- Unsupported
Where the unsupported platform could be used as a fallback for a platform dat didn’t have support for any of the mentioned features.
After determining the supported platforms and features, the next thing to do was to look for available solutions that could be used to speed up development.
